Councilmember Zimmerman moved for the adoption of the following findings of fact: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #97-08-209 <br />A RESOLUTION ADopTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0439 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR A TEMPORARY OFFICE <br />STRUCTURE ON THE PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 6640 INDUSTRY <br />AVENUE N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amcor Precast, a division of Oldcastle Precast, Inc., hereinafter referred to <br />as "Applicant", has properly applied for an Interim Use Permit for the continued use of a <br />temporary office structure on the property generally known as 6640 Industry Avenue N.W. and <br />legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township <br />32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except that part thereof described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the Northwest comer of said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the <br />Southwest Quarter; thence South along the West line of the said East Half of the <br />Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter 409.44 feet to the point of beginning; thence <br />East at right angles 11 feet; thence South at right angles 264 feet; thence West at right <br />angles to the West line of said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest <br />Quarter; thence North along said West line to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on August 5, 1997 and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the subject property is located in the Business Warehouse District and is approximately <br /> 20 acres in size. <br /> <br />3. That the surrounding parcels are also zoned Business Warehouse. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicant leases the subject property from Royal Concrete Products, Inc. <br /> <br />That on November 28, 1995, the City of Ramsey issued an interim use permit to the <br />Applicant for the use of a 24' x 60' modular office structure on the subject until June 30, <br />1997. <br /> <br /> <br />
