Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-09-249 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXTENSION TO THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY <br />PLAT OF REGENCY POND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; Section 9.50.04 (Final Plat) of the Ramsey City Code states that the <br />subdivider shall file copies of the final plat with the Zoning Officer within 12 months of <br />preliminary plat approval, and thereafter, the Council may extend the period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Good Value Homes received preliminary plat approval of Regency Pond on <br />March 12, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Good Value Homes received final plat approval of the first phase of <br />Regency Pond on July 9, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Good Value Homes received final plat approval of the second phase of <br />Regency Pond on May 27, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for the entirety of Regency Pond has officially expired <br />and the third and final phase remains to be final platted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received a written request from Good Value Homes for an <br />extension to the approved preliminary plat to facilitate the final phase of Regency Pond as <br />presented to the City Council in March 1996. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council herein determines that the subdivider of Regency Pond has made a <br />substantial investment in reasonable reliance on the approved preliminary plat. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council herein grants a 12-month extension to the approved preliminary <br />plat for Regency Pond to facilitate the final development phase. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br /> <br />
