Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-09-253 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED MAXIMUM 1997, PAYABLE 1998, TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATES NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That the following proposed maximum levies for certified 1997, payable 1998, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund- General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated Collected as Property Tax General Levy Limit Special Levy - COPSFAST Grants $ 427,510 1,761,660 27~590 $ 2,216,760 DEBT SERVICE LEVY Special Assessment Obligations (collected as property tax): Fund 321: 1992B G.O. Debt Service 6,295 6,295 TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $ 2,223,055 2) That the City of Ramsey's 1998 Public Budget Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 1997, at 7:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 1997, at 7:00 p.m. 3) That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's Office on or before Monday, September 15, 1997 for the purpose of complying with Truth in Taxation.
