Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-11-323 RESOLUTION APPROVING 3RD PARTIAL PAYMENT TO KADLEC SERVICES, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #97-20 (STREET AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS TO BUSINESS PARK 95) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on May 27, 1997; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Kadlec Services, Inc. for the construction of street and storm sewer improvements to service the Business Park 95 area (Improvement Project #97-20); and WHEREAS, previous payments have been made to Kadlec Services, Inc. for Improvement Project #97-20 in the amount of $134,247.68; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Kadlec Services, Inc. in the amount of $26,113.58. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Kadlec Services, Inc. for the construction of street and storm sewer improvements to service the Business Park 95 area (Improvement Project #97-20) in the amount of $26,113.58. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of November, 1997. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
