Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-12-338 RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXTENSION TO THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY PLAT OF NORTHFORK OAKS 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, Section 9.50.04 (Final Plat) of the Ramsey City Code states that the subdivider shall file copies of the final plat with the Zoning Officer within 12 months of preliminary plat approval and, thereafter, the Council may extend the period; and WHEREAS, North Fork, Inc. received preliminary plat approval of Northfork Oaks 2nd Addition on January 24, 1995; and WHEREAS, North Fork, Inc. received final plat approval of the first phase of Northfork Oaks 2nd Addition on July 11, 1995; and WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for the entirety of Northfork Oaks 2nd Addition and subsequent phases has officially expired and the second and third phases remain to be final platted; and WHEREAS, the City received a request from North Fork, Inc. on November 20, 1997, for final plat approval of Northfork Oaks 3rd Addition, the second phase of Northfork Oaks 2nd Addition. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council herein determines that the subdivider of North Fork, Inc. has made a substantial investment in reasonable reliance on the approved preliminary plat. 2) That the City Council herein grants an extension to the approved preliminary plat for North Fork Oaks 2nd Addition until December 30, 1998, to facilitate the final development phases. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Haas Steffen Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman
