Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #98-03-055 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TItE APPOINTMENT OF DIANA LUND AS ACTING <br />FINANCE OFFICER. <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the Finance Officer is resigning her position, effective March 31, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it will take a number of weeks to recruit and hire a new Finance Officer; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate an Acting Finance Officer until such time as a <br />new Finance Officer is hired; <br /> <br />NOW TI-IEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That Senior Accountant Diana Lund be appointed Acting Finance Officer, effective <br /> March 30, 1998. <br /> <br />2) That while she serves as Acting Finance Officer, Ms. Lund's will be compensated at an <br />annualized rate of$45,816, which is an additional $307 per pay period. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Garnet <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> Councilmember Beahen <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
