Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #98-04-057 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PELTZER PARK'S REDEVELOPMENT AND <br />AWARDING THE PLAY EQUIPMENT BID <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time of platting the Regency Pond's subdivision, it was recognized <br />that Peltzer Park would not support the recreational needs of the additional families in the <br />neighborhood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, park dedication proceeds from Regency Ponds were allocated to the <br />Recreational District which contains Peltzer Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission, at their April 9, 1998 meeting, has <br />recommended approval of a park plan and budget which is incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes City staff to provide for the re-development of <br /> Peltzer Park pursuant to the Park and Recreation Commission's recommendation, <br /> including purchase of play equipment from Flanagan Sales, Inc. in the amount of <br /> $22,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Beahen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> <br /> <br />
