Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-04-060 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND AWARDING BID FOR THE 1998 ANNUAL SPRING <br />PET CLINIC <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has advertised and received bids for the opportunity to <br />serve as the exclusive veterinarian for the City of Ramsey at its 1998 spring pet clinic. The <br />following bid was received: <br /> <br />Veterinarian Shot Cost <br /> <br />AMVET <br />15670 NE 90th Street <br />Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> <br />Rabies (canine & feline) $3.00 <br />DHLP-P (canine) $9.00 <br />Pan RC-C-P $6.00 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby awards the opportunity to serve as veterinarian for <br />the 1998 City of Ramsey Spring Pet Clinic to AMVET - Elk River Animal Hospital. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey should add a slight increase to the cost of the shots to help <br />defray the cost of staff time. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That it is mandatory in the City of Ramsey for pet owners to license them, Council <br />authorizes lowering the license fee to $3.00 for neutered/spayed and $5.00 for non- <br />neutered dogs and cats (on the day of the pet Clinic only). <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beahen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
