Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-05-089 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL TO APPLE RIDGE 3RD <br />ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Developer", <br />has properly applied for final plat approval on the following described property located in the <br />City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Outlot A, Apple Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 10, 1997, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch <br />plan for the proposed plat of Apple Ridge; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 4, 1997, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan <br />for Apple Ridge and recommended proceeding to the preliminary plat stage; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 13, 1997, the Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the <br />proposed plat of Apple Ridge and recommended that park dedication be satisfied with a cash <br />payment to be utilized towards the acquisition of land in the area for a community/neighborhood <br />park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 25, 1997, at the request of the Developer, the sketch plan was <br />submitted to City Council for review and comment and the City Council recommended <br />proceeding to the preliminary plat stage based on the discussion at the meeting; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 1, 1997, the Planning Commission conducted public hearings <br />regarding the proposed preliminary plat of Apple Ridge and rezoning the Subject Property from <br />R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 7, 1997, the Planning Commission recommended that City <br />Council approve the preliminary plat of Apple Ridge; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 6, 1997, the Planning Commission reconvened the public hearing <br />on the application to rezone the Subject Property to R-1 Urban Residential and recommended <br />City Council approval of the request; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 10, 1997, the City Council adopted Ordinance #97-06 rezoning the <br />Subject Property to R-1 Urban Residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 24, 1997, the City Council approved the preliminary plat for Apple <br />Ridge; and <br /> <br /> <br />
