Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-06-111 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CLOSING OF FUND 314(8/1/87A GOTI BOND) INTO <br />FUNDS 601 (WATER) AND 602 (SEWER) FOR YEAR ENDING 1997 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the year ending 1997, equity in the amount of $108,466.11 was <br />transferred from fund 314 (8/1/87A GOTI Bond) into fund 601 (Water fund) $66,164.33 and <br />fund 602 (Sewer fund) $42,301.78. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this transfer was completed to close fund 314 into funds 601 and 602 to <br />reflect sewer and water costs, otherwise known as trunk charges. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all transfers moving equity from one fund to another, are required for <br />proper accounting procedure and policy, to have a formal resolution. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the transfer of equity in the amount of <br />$108,466.11 from fund 314 to fund 601 and fund 602 to compensate these utility funds for <br />appropriate trunk charges for the year ending December 31, 1997. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
