Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-06-129 RESOLUTION APPROVING 4TH PARTIAL PAYMENT TO SYSTEM CONTROL SERVICES, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-24 (WATER UTILITY SCADA [SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION] SYSTEM) WHEREAS, on June 24, 1997, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution 497-06-158 approving the plans and specifications for the water utility SCADA [supervisory control and data acquisition] system (Improvement Project 496-240; and WHEREAS, on August 12, 1997, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution 497-08- 197 awarding the bid to System Control Services, Inc. for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, previous payments have been made to System Control Services, Inc. for Improvement Project 496-24 totaling $40,483.05; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to System Control Services, Inc. in the amount of$22,648.95. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to System Control Services, Inc. for the water utility SCADA [supervisory control and data acquisition] system (Improvement Project 496-24) in the amount of$22,648.95. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolution approving payment of bills for the month of June 1998. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing findings of fact was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Haas Steffen
