Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 98-06-136 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF REGISTERED LAND <br />SURVEY NO. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey acquired property from Waste Management of <br />Minnesota, Inc. (WMMI) for the extension of Sunwood Drive NW; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, one of the tracts acquired and legally described as follows, is torrens <br />property: <br /> <br />All that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township <br />32, Range 25, lying easterly of Anoka County Highway Right-Of-Way Plat No. 8; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Registrar of Titles office will not accept the recording of <br />the deed from WMMI to the City for the right-of-way without the preparation of a Registered <br />Land Survey. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission approved the sketch plan on June 22, <br />1998; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants final plat approval to Registered Land <br />Survey No. __ in accordance with relevant City Codes. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
