Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-07-151 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR STREET NAME CORRECTION IN REGENCY POND 3RD <br />ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 14, 1997, the City of Ramsey granted final plat approval to <br />Regency Pond 3rd Addition (the "Plat"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Plat was recorded at Anoka County the week of July 6, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the most northerly east/west street in the Plat should have been designated <br />at 148th Lane N.W. and was erroneously recorded at Anoka County Property Records as 149th <br />Lane N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Staff recommended that City Council take action to correct the <br />street name prior to there being any residents on the street. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes changing the street name of 149th Lane <br /> N.W. in Regency Pond 3rd Addition to 148th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />2. That the Ramsey City Council hereby instructs City Staff to submit the street name change to <br /> Anoka County for proper implementation. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
