Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-08-170 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION <br />ON SEPTEMBER 15, 1998 AND THE GENERAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 3, 1998 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be conducting a Primary Election on September <br />15, 1998 and a General Election on November 3, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 204B.21, election judges for <br />precincts in a municipality must be appointed by the goveming body of that municipality; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the hourly rate of pay will be $7.00 for election judge trainees, $8.00 for <br />regular election judges and $8.50 for chairs. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the following individuals be appointed to serve as election judges for the Primary <br />Election to be held on September 15, 1998 and the General Election to be held on <br />November 3, 1998: <br /> <br />Precinct lA - Ramsey Elementary School: <br /> <br />1.
