Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-08-174 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PATROL OFFICER <br />CHERYL L. HASSEL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cheryl (Carlson) Hassel began employment at the City of Ramsey on <br />August 1, 1997, as a Patrol Officer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Officer Hassel's supervisors, have given a satisfactory employee <br />performance appraisal for Officer Hassel and recommend retaining Ms. Hassel at the City of <br />Ramsey as a regular full-time employee, effective August 1, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its August 11, 1998 meeting agreed with the <br />recommendation to retain Cheryl L. Hassel as a regular, full-time employee, effective August 1, <br />1998. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Cheryl L. Hassel and change <br />her status to regular, full-time employee, effective May 1, 1998. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> <br /> <br />
