Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-09-218 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-18 <br />WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER, AND <br />ADDITION) <br /> <br /> AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />(EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER, <br />STREETS TO BUSINESS PARK 95 FIFTH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 11, 1998 City Council adopted Resolution #98-08-168 <br />approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the extension of sanitary sewer, <br />watermain, storm sewer, and streets to Business Park 95 Fifth Addition, bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following quotes were received: <br /> <br />Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> <br />Julian M. Johnson Construction is the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Julian M. Johnson Construction in the name of the City of Ramsey for the <br />extension of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, and streets to Business Park 95 <br />Fifth Addition in the amount of $176,017.50 <br /> <br /> <br />
