Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-09-219 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED MAXIMUM 1998, PAYABLE 1999, TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATES NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following proposed maximum levies for certified 1998, payable 1999, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund- General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated Collected as Property Tax General Levy Limit 463,512 1,976.025 $ 2,439,537 DEBT SERVICE LEVY Special Assessment Obligations (collected as property tax): Fund 321: 1992B G.O. Debt Service 6.793 6,793 TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $ 2,446,330 2) That the City of Ramsey's 1999 Public Budget Hearing is scheduled for Monday, November 30, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) is scheduled for Monday, December 7, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. 3) That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's Office on or before Tuesday, September 15, 1998 for the purpose of complying with Truth in Taxation. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi Mayor Gamec Councilmember Haas Steffen Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Zimmerman
