Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-09-219 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED MAXIMUM 1998, PAYABLE 1999, <br />TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATES <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the following proposed maximum levies for certified 1998, payable 1999, be levied <br />upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for <br />the following purposes: <br /> <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund- General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated <br /> Collected as Property Tax <br /> General Levy Limit <br /> <br />463,512 <br />1,976.025 <br /> <br />$ 2,439,537 <br /> <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />Special Assessment Obligations (collected as property tax): <br /> Fund 321: 1992B G.O. Debt Service 6.793 <br /> <br />6,793 <br /> <br />TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES <br /> <br />$ 2,446,330 <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey's 1999 Public Budget Hearing is scheduled for Monday, <br />November 30, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) is scheduled for <br />Monday, December 7, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's Office on or before Tuesday, September 15, <br />1998 for the purpose of complying with Truth in Taxation. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br /> <br />
