Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #98-09-237 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $3,000 FROM CONTINGENCY FUND <br />TO FUND THE HIRING OF A PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Personnel Committee meeting of September 22, 1998, staff presented <br />a request for the hiring of a part-time Administrative Intern; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding for an Administrative Intern has been included in the 1999 budget, <br />but no funding for such position was incorporated in the 1998 budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has presented a request for an increase of $3,000 in the amount <br />budgeted for personal services in 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 1998 Adopted General Fund budget under the contingency <br />fund are sufficient resources to accommodate this budget transfer. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the Finance Officer to enter this budget <br /> transfer into the City's financial records. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> Councilmember Beahen <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
