Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-10-254 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0474 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR A TEMPORARY OFFICE <br />STRUCTURE ON THE PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 6100 INDUSTRY <br />AVENUE NW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Transwest, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied <br />for an Interim Use Permit to utilize a temporary office structure on the property generally known <br />as 6100 Industry Avenue NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Park 67 Industrial Park, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />("Subject Property"). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on October 6, 1998, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the subject property is located in the Industrial District and is approximately 2.5 acres <br /> in size. <br /> <br />3. That the surrounding parcels on the east, west and south are zoned Industrial and the <br /> property is bounded on the north by Industry Avenue. <br /> <br />4. That on July 27, 1997, the City Council issued an interim use permit to the Subject Property <br /> for the utilization of temporary office structure and said permit expired on August 1, 1998. <br /> <br />That on September 3, 1998, the City received a written request from the Applicants <br />requesting permission to utilize the temporary office structure for another year to allow time <br />to complete expansion plans. <br /> <br />6. That the City has not received any complaints relating to the use of the temporary office <br /> structure on the Subject Property during the past year. <br /> <br />7. That the City has granted similar permits in the past in the Industrial District that have <br /> exceeded the standard one year term. <br /> <br />8. That the proposed temporary structure will not increase traffic to or from the subject <br /> property. <br /> <br /> <br />
