Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #98-11-274 <br /> <br /> AWARDING BANKING SERVICES TO NORTHLAND SECURITY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />BANK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Council Finance Committee meeting on October 13, 1998, approved <br />a recommendation to solicit bids for banking services from the two local banking institutions; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the bids were solicited and opened on October 26, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposal received from Northland Security Bank, N.A. provides the <br />best benefit and highest level of service to the City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Finance Officer be directed to establish the banking relationship as outlined in the <br /> proposal for banking services with Northland Security Bank effective January 1, 1999. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> Couneilmember Beahen <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 10th day of November, 1998. <br /> <br />Ci~inistratr;r <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
