Councihnember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #98-11- 291 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />FUNDING UNBUDGETED CAPITAL ITEMS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, several large, capital items were not included in the General Fund budget of <br />the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council was made aware of this fact and presented with these capital items <br />at a budget worksession on August 3, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for financial reporting purposes, amendments to the City's General Fund <br />Budget are to be made in the form of a Budget Amendment Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the funding for such transfer would come from the Highway 47 Fund, in <br />the amount of $392,055, where year-end excess revenues were recorded. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the Finance Officer to enter this budget <br /> amendments into the City's financial records. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> Councilmember Beahen <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
