Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #98-11-292 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $10,500 FROM CONTINGENCY <br />FUND TO FUND A SPACE NEEDS ASSESSMENT STUDY FOR CITY HALL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Community Task Force Meeting on November 9, 1998, the <br />Committee recommended a space needs study for City Hall; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding for a space needs assessment study was not included in the 1998 <br />budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has presented a request for an increase of $10,500 in the amount <br />budgeted for professional services in 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 1998 Adopted General Fund budget under the contingency <br />fund are sufficient resources to accommodate this budget transfer. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the Finance Officer to enter this budget <br /> transfer into the City's financial records. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Garnet <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> Councilmember Beahen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br /> and the following voted against: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
