Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-12-304 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO KUECHLE UNDERGROUND, <br />INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-21 (SECTION 28 SEWER AND WATER <br />EXTENSION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 13, 1998, City Council adopted Resolution #98-10-245 <br />authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 10, 1998, City Council adopted Resolution #98-11-273 <br />awarding the bid for the above-referenced work to Kuechle Underground, Inc. in the amount of <br />$340,778.65; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. in the amount of $2,468.38. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. <br />for the Section 28 Sewer and Water Extension (Improvement Project #98-21) in the <br />amount of $2,468.38. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of December 1998. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
