Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-01-017 RESOLUTION APPROVING OUTREACH SIX ACRES, INC. APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT HOLM'S SUPERBOWL IN RAMSEY WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Holm's Superbowl, 6720 Riverdale Drive, Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. is a charity that provides customized services and living options for senior, developmentally disabled adults, medically fragile children, and others with special needs; and WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; and WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at Holm's Superbowl, 6720 Riverdale Drive, NW, Ramsey. 2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby attthorizes the City Administrator or Finance Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Haas Steffen Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Zimmerman
