Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION//99-03-054 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING FUNDS FROM THE ANOKA COUNTY HISTORICAL <br />SOCIETY FOR RESTORATION OF OLD SCHOOLHOUSE #28 (OLD TOWN HALL) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Northstar Federated Women's Club donated $2,819.13 to the Anoka <br />County Historical Society for the purposes of contributing to the restoration of the Old School <br />House #28, located in Ramsey, Minnesota; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey desires the donation so that the restoration project is <br />allowed to commence during the summer of 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the restoration of the Old School House #28 (Old Town Hall) is anticipated <br />to be completed by the City's 25-Year Anniversary scheduled for the week of September 12, <br />1999. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council requests the Anoka County Historical Society distribute the <br /> donation of $2,819.13 donated by the Northstar Federated Women's Club, to the City of <br /> Ramsey for restoration of the Old School House #28 (Old Town Hall). <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> Councilmember Anderson <br /> Councilmember Hendriksen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained; <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
