Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-04-066 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #0489 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM JEFFREY SIGLER FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN OVERAGE <br />IN THE ACCESSORY BUILDING SIZE RESTRICTION AND THE TOTAL AMOUNT <br />OF ACCESSORY BUILDING SPACE ALLOWED ON A PARCEL OF LAND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Jeffrey Sigler for a <br />conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory structure space and the size <br />restriction on any one accessory building on the property generally known as 17151 Baugh Street <br />N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 32, <br />Range 25, lying southwesterly of the Southwesterly Right-of-Way Line of Anoka County <br />Right-of-Way Plat No. 33 and lying southerly of the Southerly Line of the North Half of <br />said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, Anoka County, Minnesota; except road; <br />subject to easement of record. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on March 9, 1999, Jeffrey Sigler, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly <br />applied for a conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory building <br />space and single building size restriction on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on April 6, 1999, and that said public heating <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 10 acres in size. <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels of land 9.6 acres and <br />larger, the total square footage of the main garage and all accessory buildings shall not <br />exceed 5,264 square feet and no single accessory building shall exceed 4,400 square feet. <br /> <br />That the Applicant maintains horses on the Subject Property and is proposing to construct <br />a 5,100 square foot indoor riding arena. <br /> <br /> <br />
