Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-05-075 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0492 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO MAXIMUM CUL-DE-SAC LENGTH, AND <br />MINIMUM LOT WIDTH AND STRUCTURE SETBACK FROM ORDINARY HIGH <br />WATER MARK FOR LOTS ON A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT LAKE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, North Fork, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly <br />applied for a Board of Adjustment variance from Section 9.21.04 of the Ramsey City Code to <br />plat riparian lots on Lake Itasca (DNR Protected Water #2-110) that do not meet the 200 foot lot <br />width at road frontage or building setback line requirement and the 200 foot structure setback <br />from ordinary high water mark requirement. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public hearing pursuant to <br />Section 9.03.05 (Variances) of the Ramsey City Code on May 4, 1999, and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has submitted a request for subdivision to the City of Ramsey for a <br />plat proposed to be named Northfork Itasca Point on the property legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Outlot A, Northfork Moors Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />(" Subject Property") <br /> <br />That the proposed plat lies within the shoreland overlay district for Lake Itasca (Protected <br />Water #2-110). <br /> <br />That Section 9.21.04 (Shoreland Overlay District Development Standards) of the Ramsey <br />City Code establishes a minimum lot width of 200 feet at the road frontage or building <br />setback line and a structure setback of 200 feet from the ordinary high water mark. <br /> <br />That Minnesota Rules Part 6120.3300, Subpart 3, recommends a 150 foot structure <br />setback from ordinary high water mark. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That Section 9.50.33 (Streets), Subd. 7, establishes a 600 foot maximum length for cul- <br />de-sac streets. <br /> <br />Resolution #99-05-075 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
