Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-05-098 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF JOYCE PRUITT <br />HOTTINGER AS DEPUTY CITY ADMINISTRATOR. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in absence of the City Administrator, formal documents and other <br />activities may require immediate action; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate a Deputy City Administrator to serve as <br />a "back up" during periods where the City Administrator is unavailable. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That Administrative Services Manager Joyce Pruitt Hottinger be appointed <br /> Deputy Administrator, effective May 25, 1999. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
