1434719 Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-06-112 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING REAL PROPERTY. ~-~ WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has previously authorized the platting of parts of Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK PLAT 4, Anoka County, Minnesota, which new plat shall be known as BRUNSWICK ADDITION; and WHEREAS, as a part of this platting process, the City is to acquire an approximate one-acre tract of wetland form Lot 2, Block 1, GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK PLAT 4; and WHEREAS, the legal description of the wetland to be acquired is as follows: That part of Lot 2, Block 1, GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK PLAT 4, lying Westerly, Northwesterly and Northerly of the following described line and its Northeasterly and Southwesterly extensions: Commencing at the Northeast comer of said Lot 2; thence south 89 degrees 27 minutes 20 seconds West, assumed bearing along the North line of said Lot 2, a distance of 845.25 feet and the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence South 35 degrees 13 minutes 15 seconds West a distance of 203.35 feet; thence north 44 degrees 57 minutes 37 seconds a distance of 82.90 feet; thence South 61 degrees 02 minutes 35 seconds West a distance of 151.69 feet, to the Southwest line of said Lot 2 and there terminating. the ("Subject Parcel"); and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it in the best interests of the City to acquire the Subject Parcel. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That the City does accept the conveyance to the City of the following described real property located in Anoka County, Minnesota, to-wit: That part of Lot 2, Block 1, GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK PLAT 4, lying Westerly, Northwesterly and Northerly of the following described line and its Northeasterly and Southwesterly extensions:
