Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION tt99-07-125 RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0500 RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE NEARER THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE WHEREAS, Terrance and Betty Belschner, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants," have properly applied for a variance from Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code to construct a garage nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the property generally known as 7319 162"d Lane N.W. and legally described as follows: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence north 89 degrees 15 minutes 46 seconds west along the North Line thereof a distance of 270.00 feet; thence south 0 degrees 29 minutes 11 seconds west a distance of 233.0 feet; thence 89 degrees 30 minutes 49 seconds west a distance of 483.00 feet to the point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence continue north 89 degrees 30 minutes 49 seconds west a distance of 40.0 feet; thence north 59 degrees 30 minutes 49 seconds west a distance of 50.00 feet; thence north 73 degrees 18 minutes 49 seconds west a distance of 505.77 feet to the West Line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence on a bearing of north 0 degrees 35 minutes 15 seconds west along said West Line a distance of 71.50 feet to the northwest corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence on a bearing of south 89 degrees 15 minutes 46 seconds east along the North Line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter a distance of 568.87 feet to its intersection with a line bearing north 0 degrees 29 minutes 11 seconds east from the point of beginning; thence south 0 degrees 29 minutes 11 seconds west a distance of 235.11 feet to the point of beginning (subject to and together with easements of record). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on April 6, 1999, and that said public hearing was properly advertised, and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. 2. That the subject property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential and is approximately 1.9 acres in size. 3. That the subject property is surrounded by R-1 Rural Residential zoning developed with single family homes.
