Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION tt99-07-125 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0500 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FOR A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE NEARER THE <br />FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Terrance and Betty Belschner, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants," have <br />properly applied for a variance from Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code to construct a <br />garage nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the property generally known <br />as 7319 162"d Lane N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the northeast <br />corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence north 89 degrees 15 <br />minutes 46 seconds west along the North Line thereof a distance of 270.00 feet; thence south <br />0 degrees 29 minutes 11 seconds west a distance of 233.0 feet; thence 89 degrees 30 minutes <br />49 seconds west a distance of 483.00 feet to the point of beginning of the tract of land to be <br />described; thence continue north 89 degrees 30 minutes 49 seconds west a distance of 40.0 <br />feet; thence north 59 degrees 30 minutes 49 seconds west a distance of 50.00 feet; thence <br />north 73 degrees 18 minutes 49 seconds west a distance of 505.77 feet to the West Line of <br />said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence on a bearing of north 0 degrees 35 <br />minutes 15 seconds west along said West Line a distance of 71.50 feet to the northwest <br />corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence on a bearing of south 89 <br />degrees 15 minutes 46 seconds east along the North Line of said Southeast Quarter of the <br />Northeast Quarter a distance of 568.87 feet to its intersection with a line bearing north 0 <br />degrees 29 minutes 11 seconds east from the point of beginning; thence south 0 degrees 29 <br />minutes 11 seconds west a distance of 235.11 feet to the point of beginning (subject to and <br />together with easements of record). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the <br />Ramsey City Code on April 6, 1999, and that said public hearing was properly advertised, <br />and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings <br />by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the subject property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential and is approximately 1.9 acres in <br /> size. <br /> <br />3. That the subject property is surrounded by R-1 Rural Residential zoning developed with <br /> single family homes. <br /> <br /> <br />
