Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #99-07-133 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF COMPUTER NETWORK HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 8, 1998, City Council authorized the bidding for computer <br />network hardware and sol. are; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the Local Government Information Systems <br />Association (LOGIS) to provide bidding recommendations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota bid law, three bids were received and are itemized as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />DataSource Hagen $ 21,060 <br />Inacom $ 21,588 <br />Galaxy $ 24,018 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, DataSource Hagen, <br />hardware and software requirements; and <br /> <br />with the lowest bid of $21,060, met all computer <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funding for all computer costs will be from General Fund Reserves. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with DataSource Hagen in <br />the name of the City of Ramsey for the purchase of hardware and software for the City's <br />computer network at a total purchase price of $21,060. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Anderson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained; <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
