Councilmember Connolly introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-08-144 RESOLUTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO NORTHLAND SEALING- STRIPING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-01 THROUGH #99-03 (1999 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION A - CRACK FILLING) WHEREAS, Resolutions #99-05-080 through #99-05-082 were adopted by Ramsey City Council on May 11, 1999, authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, 1999, approving the referenced work; and Resolution #99-06-104 was adopted by Ramsey City Council on June 8, plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above- WHEREAS, on June 8, 1998, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #99-06-106 awarding the bid to Northland Sealing-Striping for the 1998 Street Maintenance Program - Division A - Crack Filling (Improvement Projects #99-01 through #99-03); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Northland Sealing-Striping in the amount of $6,607.44. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Northland Sealing-Striping for the 1999 Street Maintenance Program - Division A - Crack Filling (Improvement Projects #99-01 through #99-03) in the amount of $6,607.44. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of August, 1999. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
