Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-10-192 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 2NO PARTIAL AND FINAL PAYMENT TO W.B. <br />MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-16 (BITUMINOUS PAVING OF <br />BISON STREET FROM 171ST AVENUE TO A POINT 1000 FEET SOUTH THEREOF) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 13, 1998, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #98-10- <br />246 ordering the bituminous paving of Bison Street from 171st Avenue to a point 1000 feet south <br />thereof (Improvement Project #98-16); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 11, 1999, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #99-05-90 <br />awarding the bid to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project #98-16 in the amount of <br />$36,587.50; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, previous payment has been made to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement <br />Project #98-16 in the amount of $34,105.56; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $4,655.03. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the <br />bituminous paving of Bison Street from 171st Avenue to a point 1000 feet south thereof <br />(Improvement Project #98-16) in the amount of $4,655.03. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of October, 1999. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br /> <br /> <br />
