Precinct 6: Independent Baptist Church, 15650 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW <br /> Precinct 7: City Hall - Upper Level, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW <br /> Precinct 8: Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 14501 Nowthen Boulevard NW <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, these precinct boundary changes become effective December 1, 1999. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey has experienced significant growth in population, thereby <br /> increasing the number of registered voters. <br /> <br />2) That the City of Ramsey voters would be better served by the addition of voting <br /> precincts. <br /> <br />3) That the City Council accepts the precinct map and the boundary lines as presented and <br /> described. <br /> <br />4) That the City Council also accepts the polling places researched and recommended by <br /> staff. <br /> <br />5) That the Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to execute this resolution and send a <br /> certified copy to the Secretary of the State of Minnesota and the Anoka County Elections <br /> Department. <br /> <br />6) That the precinct changes become effective December 1, 1999. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Connolly, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Anderson <br /> Councilmember Connolly <br /> Councilmen~ber Hendriksen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-10-203 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
