Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-11-208 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED <br />ADOPTION OF ADMENTMENTS TO THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS <br />FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NOS. 1, 2, 4, 5 AND 6 WITHIN <br />MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey ("City") has previously established its Development <br />District No. 1 (the "Project") and Tax Increment Financing District Nos. 1, 2, 4,5 and 6 (the "TIF <br />Districts") pursuant to Minn. Stat. Sections 469.124 to 469.134 and Sections 469.174 to 469.179 <br />(the "Act"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to consider a modification of the tax <br />increment financing plans ("TIF Plans") for the TIF Districts, and to hold a public hearing <br />regarding those actions in accordance with the Act. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on Tuesday, December 14, 1999, at <br />approximately 7:00 P.M. to hold a public hearing on the proposed adoption of <br />Amendments to the Tax Increment Financing Plans for Tax Increment Financing District <br />Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 within Municipal Development District No. 1, all pursuant to and <br />in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 through 469.134, both <br />inclusive, as amended and Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 through 469.179, both <br />inclusive, as amended (collectively, the "Act"). <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Notice of Hearing; Filing of Plan Amendments. The City Administrator is hereby <br />authorized to cause a notice of the hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A, to be published as required by the Act and to place a copy of the proposed <br />Amendments to the Tax Increment Financing Plans on file in the Administrator's Office <br />at City Hall and to make such copies available for inspection by the public. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Zimmerman <br />Councihnember Anderson <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
