Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-12-226 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR 90 DAYS FOR <br />PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER BRIAN SWANSON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Brian Swanson began employment at the City of Ramsey on May 10, 1999, <br />as a Public Works Maintenance Worker; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in a review of performance on Tuesday, December 7, 1999, Mr. Swanson's <br />supervisors have requested a 90-day extension on Brian Swanson's probationary period, <br />effective December 14, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its December 14, 1999 meeting, agreed with <br />the recommendation to extend Brian Swanson's probationary period for 90 days, effective <br />December 14, 1999. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to extend the probationary period for Brian Swanson for 90 <br /> days effective December 14, 1999. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That following the 90-day extension, another performance review will be conducted <br />addressing the concerns outlined in the December 1999 performance review. A <br />recommendation on the status of the employee will be made to the Personnel <br />Committee, to be forwarded to City Council for consideration <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />And the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />And the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
