Magney has completed <br /> the concrete pours for the reservoir as well as most of the concrete pours at the main level of the Water <br /> Treatment Plant. Magney has also completed both the Backwash Tank and Clearwell base slabs,walls, <br /> and top slabs. Concrete pours for the walls of all filter basins have begun. Electrical conduit has been <br /> installed within the electrical room and CMU block walls have been constructed. Our engineering team <br /> has continued to coordinate with Magney and further refine the installation details of future pieces of <br /> equipment. As construction and coordination has progressed we have identified some items that will <br /> require adjustments. This letter is intended to outline those adjustments and summarize the current <br /> project budget in order for the City to fully understand the status of the project. <br /> Change Order No. 02 Summary: <br /> Magney Construction, Inc. requests an 88-day construction time extension due to permitting delays at the <br /> beginning of the project outside of the Contractor's control. These delays include time lost due to, and/or <br /> associated with,the Department of Labor and Industry's (DOLI)request for additional information/denial <br /> letter,time lost due to the required issuance of redesigned or modified drawings,DOLI approvals, <br /> submittance of required documentation, including,but not limited to, SAC determinations, special <br /> inspections, Building Department permit review and approval process.
