Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#24-233 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-59, LIFT STATION NO. 2 PUMP REPLACEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey 2024 — 2033 Capital Improvement Program includes <br /> proposed project #19-SEW-003, Replace Pumps at Lift Station No. 2, proposed for construction <br /> in 2024 at an estimated cost of$57,000; and <br /> WHEREAS,requests for quotes were solicited from two(2) contractors known to provide <br /> said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, two (2) quotes were solicited and received as follows; and <br /> Contractor Total Quote <br /> WW Goetsch Associates. Inc. $541872.00 <br /> Ford Construction Co., Inc. $601969.00 <br /> Engineer's Estimate $57,000.00 <br /> WHEREAS, the quote of WW Goetsch Associates. Inc in the amount of$54,872.00 for <br /> the total quote for construction of the improvements is the lowest responsible proposer and their <br /> quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said <br /> proposer for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br />
