City Planner Martin commented that the City has strict guidelines on the maximum height for light <br />poles, which is 20 feet maximum when adjacent to residential. He noted that there are also <br />requirements that light must stay on the site to prevent light pollution onto neighboring properties. <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked if there were any unresolved issues or changes that staff would be <br />recommending. <br />City Planner Martin commented that the remainder of the outstanding issues are minor in nature <br />and fall outside the purview of the Planning Commission. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />A roll call vote was performed: <br />Commissioner Anderson aye <br />Commissioner Van Scoy aye <br />Commissioner Bauer aye <br />Commissioner Peters aye <br />Commissioner Heineman aye <br />Chairperson Gengler aye <br />Motion Carried. <br />Chairperson Gengler closed the public hearing at 7:28 p.m. <br />Commission Business <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Resolution #24-201 Approving a Preliminary Plat, Final Plat and Site Plan for Voice <br />of Hope Church at 15620 Armstrong Boulevard NW. <br />A roll call vote was performed: <br />Commissioner Heineman aye <br />Commissioner Peters aye <br />Commissioner Bauer aye <br />Commissioner Van Scoy aye <br />Commissioner Anderson aye <br />Chairperson Gengler aye <br />Motion Carried. <br />6.02: Public Hearing: Consider a Variance for a Lean -To Structure at 6960 148th Lane NW <br />(Curtis Forster) <br />Planning Commission/ July 25, 2024 <br />Page 5 of 20 <br />
