Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #24-229 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT, FINAL PLAT, DEVELOPMENT <br /> AGREEMENT,AND A SIDEWALK EASEMENT AGREEMENT FOR PARKSIDE <br /> TOWNHOMES <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey at COR, LLC, hereafter referred to as "Applicant," properly applied for <br /> Preliminary and Final Plat approval of the following described properties located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> Lots 1-12, Block 2 Ramsey Town Center 7th Addition <br /> -or upon recording of the Parkside Townhomes final plat- <br /> Lots 1-31, Block 1 and Outlot A, Parkside Townhomes <br /> (the `Subject Property'); and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed preliminary plat would replat Lots 1-12, Block 2 Ramsey Town <br /> Center 7th Addition into Lots 1-31, Block 1 and Outlot A, Parkside Townhomes; and <br /> WHEREAS, a portion of the public sidewalk along East Ramsey Parkway will encroach into the <br /> Subject Property, which requires the execution of a Sidewalk Easement Agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing and reviewed the Preliminary Plat <br /> on August 22, 2024, and recommended approval of the project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Preliminary Plat, Final Plat, Development <br /> Agreement, and Sidewalk Easement Agreement request on September 10, 2024. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of the Preliminary Plat, Final Plat, <br /> Development Agreement, and Sidewalk Easement Agreement for Parkside Townhomes in <br /> accordance with relevant City Codes, subject to the following conditions: <br /> a) Compliance with staff review comments. <br /> b) Approval of the Stormwater Management Plan by the Lower Rum River Watershed Management <br /> Organization. <br /> c) Entering into a Development Agreement with the City of Ramsey. <br /> d) Vacation of all existing drainage and utility easements on Block 2 of Ramsey Town Center 7tn Addition. <br /> e) Executing and recording a Sidewalk Easement Agreement. <br /> f) Review and approval as to legal form by the City Attorney of the Development Agreement, Sidewalk <br /> Easement Agreement, and Final Plat. <br />
