Assistant City Engineer 7550 Sunwood Drive NW Ramsey, MN 55303 RE: Proposal for Construction Staking Services, City of Ramsey—MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction (City Project No. 24-11) Dear Mr. Feriancek: We appreciate the opportunity to assist the City of Ramsey with construction staking for the above referenced project. SCOPE OF WORK Bolton & Menk will complete the construction survey for the project, Per the plans,this project is a 0.66 mile stabilized full-depth reclamation. Staking generally includes: • 3,233 LF of directional drilled trunk watermain, • 155 LF of open cut watermain 0 9 trunk line gate valves 0 5 hydrant&valves • Potentially blue top centerline for stabilized reclaim grading, • Approximately 1,700 LF of concrete curb and gutter, • 3 pedestrian ramps, • 925 LF of silt fence, • 9022 LF of pavement striping, and • Miscellaneous other staking We will also complete the As-built Survey for Record Drawing creation. ASSUMPTIONS We have made the following assumptions in preparing this proposal: • No allowance is included for staking of removals, clearing, or right-of-way. • Replacing damaged or removed stakes is not included in our base fee. • No additional fees for stakes, mileage, equipment, etc. will be invoiced to the City, but are included in our hourly rates. • Additional services, if required, will be performed at the rates presented in the Proposed Fees section of this proposal.
