Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #24-262 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2024, PAYABLE 2025 TAX LEVY AND <br />SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC MEETING DATE <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2024, payable 2025, be levied upon the <br />taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the <br />following purposes: <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br />Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated $ 2,323,926 <br />Collected as Pavement Management Levy 1,936,970 <br />Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy 86,367 <br />Collected as Property Tax General Levy 14,607,120 <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />CIP Bond — Municipal Center 840,650 <br />CIP Bond — Fire Station #2 283,749 <br />2023 Equipment Certificates 188,738 <br />2015 GO Road Improvement Bonds 114,222 <br />2016 GO Road Improvement Bonds 146,371 <br />2017 GO Road Improvement Bonds 91,875 <br />2018 GO Road Improvement Bonds 113,792 <br />2020 CIP Bond — Public Works Campus 127,276 <br />2022 GO Road Improvement Bonds 1,089,638 <br />$18,954,3 83 <br />2,996,311 <br />TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $ 21 r950,694 <br />1) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $1,197,683 (105% of debt service) related <br />to the 2021 GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center. <br />Levy amount will be as stated above. <br />3) That the City of Ramsey's 2024 Public Budget Meeting for 2025 Payable is scheduled for <br />Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. <br />4) That the Finance Director be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to <br />theAnoka County Auditor's Office on or before Monday, September 30, 2024. <br />
