Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION #24-294
<br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 4 TO DAVE PERKINS
<br />CONTRACTING, INC. FOR HALLS DOVER ACRES STREET RECONSTRUCTION,
<br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-02
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Halls Dover Acres
<br />subdivision; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-130, adopted June 13, 2023, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic survey of the
<br />project area; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-129, adopted June 27, 2023, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Chosen Valley Testing, Inc., for a geotechnical report
<br />of the project area; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-198, adopted August 22, 2023, the
<br />City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvements; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-014, adopted on January 9, 2024,
<br />the City Council approved final plans and specification as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized
<br />advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking and As -built Survey of $27,144.00
<br />from Bolton and Menk, Inc. for said improvements; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-064, adopted February 27' 2024, a
<br />contract was awarded to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of
<br />$844,919.01 for said improvements; and
<br />WHEREAS, as of October 22, 2024 $921,973.15 has been paid to date; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and
<br />recommends partial payment No. 4 to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. of Nowthen Minnesota, for
<br />improvement project #24-02 Halls Dover Acres Street Reconstruction, in the amount of $42,779.92.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA:
<br />1) The City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No. 4 to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc of
<br />Nowthen, Minnesota for Improvement Project #24-02, Halls Dover Acres Street Reconstruction in
<br />the amount of $42,779.92.

<br />The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to sign the release form for
<br />this payment.
