Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #24-295 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY FOR 2025 NEIGHBORHOOD PAVEMENT OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-07 AND SUNWOOD DRIVE: CONCRETE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING REPLACEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-08 WHEREAS, the Sunwood Drive concrete pedestrian crossings at intersections between Zeolite Street and Rhinestone Street are proposed to be replaced in 2025; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-282, adopted September 24, 2024, request for proposals were submitted to two (2) firms for the purpose of completing the proposed surveys; and WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to two (2) firms for the purpose of obtaining proposals for completing a topographic survey of pedestrian ramps within the 2025 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #25-07 and Sunwood Drive Concrete Pedestrian Crossing Replacements, Improvement Project #25-08; and WHEREAS, the two (2) topographic survey proposals received are tabulated below; and Project Bolton & Menk, Inc. Hakanson Anderson IP 25-07, 2025 Neighborhood Pavement $5,557.00 $5,900.00 Overlay Improvements IP 25-08, Sunwood Drive Crosswalk Repairs $4,045.00 $2,300.00 WHEREAS, the proposal of Hakanson Anderson in the total amount of $8,200.00 for said services in accordance with the prepared proposals is the lowest responsible proposal and their proposal shall be and hereby is accepted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Hakanson Anderson for said topographic survey services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey.
