ORDINANCE #24-13 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 106-105 - ZONING CODE DEFINITIONS <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br />Underlined text is inserted into City Code. <br />Strikethrough text is deleted from City Code. <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 106 (ZONING CODE). <br />The following portion of Chapter 106, Section 105, is amended as follows: <br />Sec. 106-105. - Definitions. <br />Manufacturing means the processing or assembly of raw materials or parts into finished goods <br />through the use of tools, human labor, machinery, and chemical processing. This definition <br />includes hydroponics as well as state -regulated cannabis cultivation. <br />SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE: DATE <br />This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter <br />Section 5.04. <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota the day of , 2024. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
