<br />UNIFORM BUILDING CODE

<br />Where plans are incomplete, or changed so as to require additional plan
<br />checking, an additional plan-<:heck ree shall be charged at a rate eslab-
<br />lished by the Building Orricial.
<br />(c) Expiration or Plan Check. Applications for which no pcrmit is
<br />issued within J 80 days rollowing the date or application shall expire by
<br />limitation and plans submitted for checking may thereafter be returned to
<br />the applicant or destroyed by the Building Official. The Building Official
<br />may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding
<br />180 days upon written request by the applicant showing that circumstances
<br />beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from being
<br />taken. In order to renew action on an application after expiration, the ap-
<br />plicant shan resubmit plans and pay a new plan-check fee.
<br />(d) Reinspeclion Fee. The ree ror each reinspection shall be SIO.oo.

<br />Inspections
<br />Sec. 304. (a) General. All construction or work for which a permit is
<br />required shall be subject to inspection by the Building Official, and certain
<br />types of construction shall have continuous inspection by special inspec-
<br />tors, as specified in Section 305.
<br />A surveyor the lot may be required by the Building Officialta verify
<br />compliance of the structure with approved plans.
