<br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of February 17, 1983 <br /> <br />Members Present: Dennis Donovan, John Lichter, Ron Hetland <br /> <br />Members Absent: Terry McLean, Janice Johnson" Bill Rustad, Don Lokker <br /> <br />Also Present: Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:12 p.m. The minutes of the January <br />20, 1983 Park and Recreation Commission meeting were approved on a motion <br />by Commissioner Lichter and a second by Commissioner Hetland, <br /> <br />AI Sorteberg presented a proposed sketch plan for five lots fronting 157th <br />Avenue NW east of Armstrong Blvd. NW. Parks in the area include Traprock <br />and Central Parks. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lichter and seconded by Commissioner Hetland to <br />recommend acceptance of cash in lieu-of land for the Sorteberg First Addition, <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lichter and seconded by Commissioner Donovan to <br />recommend that the Council authorize-the City Engineer-to begin preparation <br />of plans and specifications for the development of-Central Park as approved <br />by the City Council at their meeting of-July 27, 1982. <br /> <br />~ - - ) <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan reported that City Administrator Schnelle is setting up a <br />meeting with the City of Anoka over park use between the Cities. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 7:42 p,m. <br /> <br />Submitted by, <br /> <br />John Lichter <br />Secretary <br /> <br />/ <br />
