(6121427.1410 <br /> <br />February 28, 1983 <br /> <br />Mr. Greg Johnson <br />Metro Council Staff <br />Metropolitan Council <br />300 Metro Square Building <br />St. Paul, MN 55101 <br /> <br />RE: Final Progress Report to Metro Council <br />Contract No. 78100; Submission of <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Johnson: <br /> <br />I am enclosing our Final Progress Report regarding Metro Contract <br />No. 78100 which pertains to the expenditure of Metro Council grant <br />.funds on the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />It should be noted that considerably more was accomplished in the <br />Ramsey Comprehensive Plan such as the drainage study and water study. <br />The City of Ramsey felt that these two studies were very important <br />factors and should be accomplished. However, the one problem that <br />the City of Ramsey encountered was that a considerable amount of <br />sewer policy had to be redone by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Evidently, when Wehrman, Chapman and Associates, Inc. bid to do the <br />Ramsey Comprehensive Plan they did not understand the indepth work <br />that would be required in the sewer policy, consequently they under <br />bid that area of work. The work they did on it was not adequate for <br />the'Metro Council. The end result was the City of Ramsey having to <br />back up and redo that area which added to the expense of this plan. <br /> <br />If you have any further questions on the enclosed documents, please <br />feel free to call me. <br /> <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />.'
