On or before March 1, annually, the clerk of each municipality and the audilor of each country desiring to participate in the State <br />- -,o.;d Apportionment and employing one or more 'peace officer(s) shaJl certify the number of fuJl time active peace officers who <br />~,l,Iere employed by the municipality or county for a minimum of six months as of the preceding December 31. to. the <br />Commissioner of Insurance, State of Minnesota, Department of Commerce, Fifth Floor Metro Square Building, Seventh & Robert <br />. Streets, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101, on this form. Municipalities shaJl also certify to the county auditor of the county wherein the <br />municipality is located. Two copies of this certificate may be filed with the Commissioner of Insurance and one copy will be sent <br />~ ,to your cour~ty auditor. <br /> <br />2. _ If this certificate is not filed wilh the Commissioner of Insurance within the lime prescribed, the municipality or county shall be <br />jeemed to have relinquished its rights for the year to the State Aid.
