Councilman sortcbcrg.introduccd the following rcsolut~on ana rnovca ~or ~~s adoption: RESOLUTION #83-12 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has prepared and adopted a Comprehensive Plan as required by the State Land Planning Act; and WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan provides for the extension of sanitary sewers. in both the Mississippi River and the Rum River Watersheds with 1990 pro- jected flow of 0.57.million gallons per day; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received a petition to provide utilities to the area east of Flintwood Hills First Addition and north along the Rum River to 149th Avenue NW; and WHEREAS, the Area petitioned for utilities lies within the proposed 1984, 1986, 1988 and early 1990's development areas of the City; and WHEREAS, the existing residents within the developed areas proposed to be provided with utilities in 1984 and 1986 have stated they would like to have utilities delayed. I I NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY:; STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The proposed construction schedule for public utilities shall be amende~as shown on revised Map 13A of the Comprehensive plan contingent upon Metropolitan Council. review and approval. 2) The City Administrator is directed to forward this resolution along. with all necessary worksheets and Comprehensive plan revisions required to amend the proposed construction schedule to the Metropolitan Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Garnec.and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmernbers Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner and the following voted against the same: None and the following were absent: Councilmernber Reimann whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of February 1983.
